Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Hotline

From immediate suicidal crisis to information about local referrals, Response Hotline is equiped to take a wide range of calls:

• Call to speak with someone who will listen and not judge you
• Call if you feel you might be in danger of hurting yourself
• Call to find referrals to mental health services in your area

Call to speak to a crisis counselor about someone you're concerned about   

 Spring Training

RESPONSE OF SUFFOLK COUNTY, INC. will be holding its Spring Training, for those interested in becoming volunteer telephone crisis counselors with Response Hotline, on the following dates:

Saturday March 3rd, Sunday March 4th
Saturday March 10th and Sunday March 11th
Training will be held from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm each day
Trainees are expected to attend all dates
Training will be held in the Stony Brook area

If you are interested in attending the Spring Training please complete an on-line application at our website, www.responsehotline.org. Once your application is reviewed you will receive further details regarding the training site and information about the training process.
